Some '80s synth pop

I hadn't heard of the band before, so wasn't familiar with their music, but this song really made an impression. The music and rhythm are compelling - very '80s synth pop - and the spoken lyrics are those of the poem Dream within a Dream by Edgar Allan Poe.
According to Wikipedia, Propaganda are a German synth pop band formed in Düsseldorf in 1982. This track dates back to 1985 - almost 40 years ago, but still sounds fresh and interesting. I probably won't listen to it very often, as it's quite intense, but I'd like to keep it to hand - hence this post.
